Givenchy Fall 2007 - Couture

Varying shades of blue are employed in this example of a Monochromatic scheme.

The different shades of blue give a different effect. The cyan feels light, yet the dark blue gives a feeling of class.

An accented neutral color scheme is employed here. The most obvious example of having the yellow accent the khaki color.

Leopard skin and fur have always been associated with the upper class

Once again, it wouldn't be a Givenchy collection without the neutral colors being present.

In this 2007 Collection, Tisci descided to show some off all different kinds of coats, dresses and fabrics. Backstage, he said "I wanted to show lots of different shapes for all kinds of women."

This was a response to people critizing his "Western Bondage" collection, as people felt it was only wearable by the skinniest and bravest of models.

The collection even included strange outfits such as a Goth mermaid, a full leopard skin outfit, even a one-sleeved spiral-cut dress!

I like this versatility and seeing all these different styles, makes me want to design some creative outfits of my own!

Achromatic and Mono-chromatic Color Scheme
Here we can see Riccardo Tisic used Achromatic Color Scheme (black and white),
He also used dark cobalt, pale khaki, grey ,this color family represent Mono-chromatic Color Scheme.
